If you’ve ever played Dungeons & Dragons, you’ll know that this epic game allows you to explore new worlds, battle weird and wonderful creatures, and working with other players to save the day. However, many people struggle to get into this game because of this social aspect. Because of this, one charity has decided to create a new Dungeons & Dragons game that will help those who struggle with social anxiety.
Game To Grow
The charity behind this amazing idea is called Game to Grow, and founded by Adam Johns and Adam Davis, who have a huge amount of experience with the game itself, and those who play it. Over the course of their gaming career, they have realized that Dungeons & Dragons can be a struggle for those who are uncomfortable in social situations or have social anxiety. Because they didn’t want anyone to miss out, they have created a safe space for these children to play a game in an environment where they feel more comfortable.
Dungeons & Dragons requires a lot of role-playing and character development, and this often takes a lot of confidence. To help those who aren’t quite as confident around others, Game to Grow have created tabletop RPG therapy gaming groups that help around 50 children per week. Many of these kids lay on the Autism spectrum, so this safe space serves as a comforting and natural environment, surrounded by those who are similar to them.
Game to Grow hope to expand these games across the nation and the world so that more and more children are able to experience the joy and the excitement of Dungeons & Dragons. As they have already seen how successful these groups can be, they hope that more and more people will be able to benefit from them.

Jack and Rose’s on-screen romance turned into an off-screen friendship, one of the purest we’ve seen in Hollywood. Winslet and DiCaprio have been friends for more than two decades, and their friendship seems stronger every time we see them. Since earning their big break after starring side-by-side in Titanic, the two got the chance to co-star with each other again in 2008. When Winslet accepted the Golden Globe, she had nothing but the best things to say about her best friend, “Leo, I’m so happy I can stand here and tell you how much I love you and how much I’ve loved you for 13 years…I love you with all my heart, I really do.”

Busy Phillips & Michelle Williams
Let’s be real – some celebrity friendships give us straight-up FOMO (fear of missing out), and this friendship is an example of that. Busy and Michelle starred in Dawson’s Creek as teenagers and have been best friends ever since. They accompany each other to red carpet events, award shows, and appear on each other’s social media. They refer to each other as “the love of their life.” If they’re looking for a third wheel, we’d gladly volunteer to join this friendship.
Sophie Turner & Maisie Williams
The on-screen Stark sisters are off-screen best friends, and we couldn’t be happier about this friendship. The duo is attached by the hip, and they even have matching tattoos. They met at the auditions for none other than Game of Thrones when they were 12 (Maisie) and 13 (Sophie) and have been conquering the world ever since. The two grew up together on the set and learned how to navigate stardom together, creating an extraordinary bond.
Salma Hayek & Penelope Cruz
Salma Hayek and Penélope Cruz are not two of Hollywood’s most beautiful women, but they’re also the best of friends. They starred together in Bandidas in 2006 and have been friends since 2001. The best friends even have nicknames for each other, huevos (eggs), which is another way of saying ‘lazy’. They may seem like a serious pair, but the two happen to have a lot of fun together, as Cruz showed us when she pranked Hayek on an episode of Punk’d.
