Who can remember the days of playing Snake on your cell phone and having a pixelated version of the Nike logo as your background? If you’re nodding your head with nostalgia, then you may be pleased to learn that Nokia is about to make their big comeback in America.

Two New Nokia Phones

Nokia, who is keen to dominate the smartphone market, has decided to launch not one, but two brand new cell phones in America. After once being a powerhouse in the phone market, things haven’t gone all too well for Nokia as smartphones crept in and took over. They were originally sold off to Microsoft before seeing a revival under HMD Global in 2016. Now, they’re hoping their two new smartphones will bring them back to life.

Android Offerings

Nokia’s two new smartphones will be on the Android operating system, after saying goodbye to their Microsoft platform which signaled the end for them all those years ago.

The Nokia 3.1 Plus will be available from Cricket Wireless and boasts a 5.99-inch display, impressive dual rear cameras, and a 3,500 mAh battery. The Nokia V 2, which will be sold by Verizon, has a 5.5-inch HD screen and a massive 4,000 mAh battery, too.

Up Against The Greats

While the specs look good so far, it seems as though the low 2GB of RAM in the 3.1 Plus and 8GB of RAM in the V 2, along with sub-par Snapdragon chips, may just let Nokia down.

Technically, when pitted against the likes of any recent iPhone model or the Galaxy S9, the new Nokia phones will leave a lot of people disappointed. However, it’s the beginning of (hopefully) great things to come for the phone company that used to be at the top of their game.

While very few people will be rushing out to be the new Nokia cell phones just yet, it’s clear these guys are keen to make a big comeback in America. Only time will tell if it pays off!

He has been voted as the most attractive man in the world in many media reports, and even as a high school student, Brad Pitt was sure to charm you with just his smile. While she looks radiant on the day of her prom, based on her songs released years later, it is safe to say that this relationship was not meant to last.

He was arrested leaving the scene and convicted of third-degree burglary.

Elizabeth Caplan garnered wide attention after starring in Mean Girls, where she played the role of high school outsider, Janis Ian. It was not long until Sandra would be causing a media storm with her breakout in the entertainment industry, where she played alongside many leading men in box-office hits. Long before she knew she would become British royalty, Meghan Markle was crowned prom queen at the age of 17. The new Duchess of Sussex attended Immaculate Heart High in Los Angeles, and her prom took place in 1998. As seen in the photo from the evening, Meghan Markle looked every inch a member of royalty with her tiara, long ball gown, and silver jewels. Little did her prom date know who the girl standing next to him at the time was destined to become.

Any lady who has had the pleasure of walking arm-in-arm with Matthew McConaughey should consider herself lucky.
